Part of a small international hotel group, that is currently operating over 30 hotels in Oceania, Asia & United States. This is the newest edition of the group that opened in China, after Xiamen, Suzhou, Ningbo, Ningbo serviced suites, Tianjin, with more properties in the pipeline. The hotel has over 200 nicely appointed rooms, 4 F&B outlets, (ADD, Chinese, Japanese, and Lounge & IRD) health & fitnesscenter and banqueting & meeting facilities.

Reporting to the DOFB and leading the Western kitchen team.
The Western Chef is integral in linking all facets of cuisine and then delivering these to guests. He /she must interact with presence, flair and creativity and be able to showcase his / her talents and develop these talents in that of the team. The coordination of effective and efficient resource
allocation through establishing a flexible workforce based on multi-skilling and multi-tasking is a requirement.

Some of the responsibilities as per our client:

Overall responsibility of all culinary activities to ensure efficiency and high standards of operations in all restaurants, bars and events.
Ensures culinary presentation and quality in all restaurants, bars and event spaces are of a very high standard.

Drives high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of all brand standards, visible operational leadership, active trend analysis and hands-on interaction with guests and associates.

Continually review and refresh menu offerings as deemed by locality and region.
Communicate effectively the hotel strategies to the culinary team (where appropriate).
Ensure supplier audits and tracking is completed regularly.
Create new revolutionary standards of product offering through an innovative, passionate, hands on approach.
To conduct regular hygiene audits in conjunction with the Chief Steward and the Restaurants, Bars and Events Management.
Attaining and maintaining the sanitation(HACCP or similar) certificates as required by the regional governing body.

Candidate should have gained 2 years of working experience in similar capacity. Culinary Diploma or Degree from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution and/or have gained 5 years of senior culinary experience in hotel industry. Excellent managerial skills, people management to build and maintain positive working relationships with all associates. Strong operational presence and high presentation skills. High customer service focus. High level of flexibility and adaptability and ability. Strong team playing skills.
Fluent in English. Mandarin skills desirable and any other language would be a plus.
2年以上相关工作经验。
从知名酒店/大专院校取得烹饪文凭或学位,或在酒店行业有5年的高级烹饪经验。
优秀的管理技能,良好的人员管理能力,与所有员工建立并保持良好的工作关系。较强的执行力和表达能力。高度关注客户服务。高度的灵活性和适应能力。较强的团队合作能力。
英语流利。有良好的普通话,其他语言能力者优先。

Salary & Benefits
A salary package is negotiable, based on qualifications and experience. Other benefits according to the hotel’s policy.
